I've been an ASHA certified speech-language pathologist since 2011 and have provided fun, evidence-based speech-language therapy services through my private practice, Jill Shook Therapy, since 2015. I create evidence-based resources for SLP's for my TeachersPayTeachers store, and recorded an online course for SLPs interested in starting a private practice.
I received my BS in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina, then my Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from Vanderbilt University (you'll notice that those are both Southern locales.) I now live in Pittsburgh, PA, with my husband and daughter, and am still working on getting acclimated to the winters here! I worked primarily in schools and early intervention before I started my own practice.
I love to spend time with my family, and on the rare occasion that I have a spare minute, I love to run, read, and indulge in Handel's Ice Cream (Banana Cream Pie all the way)!
